Peshawar (Latest News – May 27, 2024) – The Peshawar High Court has declared that the state has completely failed to protect its citizens, and agencies must operate within the constitutional framework. According to media reports, the court was hearing a petition regarding the disappearance of the Alkozai family members from Hayatabad. Justice Ijaz Anwar remarked that if the state engages in such actions, where will people go? He emphasized that until the executive adheres to the Constitution, such issues will persist in the country. The court ordered the police committee’s report to be presented at the next hearing.
