As a T20I captain, he has scored 2,520 runs in 74 innings at an average of 37.61 and a strike rate of 131.11. His record includes 3 centuries and 23 half-centuries.

Babar Azam has also become the first Pakistani player to score 4,000 runs in T20I cricket.

Virat Kohli leads this list with 4037 runs, followed by Rohit Sharma with 3974 runs, while Paul Stirling is in fourth place with 3589 runs. Additionally, Babar Azam is just 27 runs away from becoming the highest run-scorer among non-English foreign players in England.
